01
Language models for local needs
Adapting suitable existing models for government and business use cases.
AI for governments, businesses and entrepreneurs
Nexifour LLC is developing locally relevant artificial intelligence for organizations in Nigeria and across Africa, and we test it first inside our own products.
What we do
01
Adapting suitable existing models for government and business use cases.
02
Tools that automate workflows, find the right information and support better decisions.
03
Applying AI to our own products, starting with Sakora.shop, so it is tested in real commercial use.
Why local fit matters
Our first application
An e-commerce platform that helps small retailers and shop owners sell more easily. It is where we develop and test practical AI for real shops.
Visit Sakora.shopWe plan to start with product categories and attributes, then improve search, then use customer interactions where suitable data exists, and move to personalised models only as data allows.
Our approach
We do not assume that training a model from scratch is the right answer. We choose the lightest approach that solves the problem.
1
Start from capable existing models and test them on local tasks.
2
Ground answers in approved documents that stay under the organization’s control.
3
Adapt a model to a domain, language or style where retrieval alone falls short.
4
Build or deeply customise only where validated demand and resources justify it.
Where AI can help
These are target use cases, not existing deployments.
Roadmap
Plans, not shipped products.
Phase 1
Prototype and test use cases with real users.
Phase 2
Adapt suitable existing models and ship first AI applications.
Phase 3
Evaluate GPU acceleration, model optimisation and deployment options.
Phase 4
Develop specialised language and recommendation models when validated needs and resources support it.
We are looking for pilot partners in government and business, technology partners and advisors who share our focus on useful, locally relevant AI.
